Started playing chess at 4 years of age. On my second month of my undergraduate degree, I won the University-wide ACM Programming contest, a competition at a University known as the best in Computer Science in Mexico. I was the only student in the history of this University to win this contest for four consecutive years and to receive one of the top prizes in the Mexico & Central America ACM Programming contest until I finished my undergraduate degree.
