An accountant previously, redirected with a move to NZ and a degree in Business Innovation, I work with a software consultancy. We sell, implement and support enterprise software. I work with many industries, including import/distribution, manufacturing, service, education, engineering, and retail - mostly mid-size businesses. After several years as a Senior Consultant involved in project management, software implementations, support, and account management I moved into sales and marketing. My role as Client Engagement Manager is to work with businsses to help them get the best value out of their systems; often using a combination of business process redesign, additions or changes to their existing systems, and end-user training. I'm also responsible for client communications and involved in software sales. My passions include developing competitive advantage capabilities through information and knowledge management, company culture, and more recently, social media.
