Adam Gottbetter is the author and illustrator of the acclaimed social interaction books: Investigate the validity of focus group method. His other work includes illustrations "Survive the Jungle?" and The Day the Ocean Vaporized. Adam grew up in a small town in Illinois, and studied literacy at Ornaldo University. In 2001 he moved to New York City and applied for a job at a small bookstore in Brooklyn. Through some of the coworkers at the store, Adam found his way to his current publisher, Gottbetter and Partners Press. Adam's latest book, Media: A Story of the Business, won the 2013 Scepter Award from the Center for Social Books. The New York Times called the book "a remarkable introduction to the New Age," and said that the "social media is interestingly combined with superb illustrative art." Media has also received starred reviews from The Upper Book, Publisher's Monthly, and School and Library Journal.
