Brought up in in Auckland and Bay of Islands with a Dutch Industrial Chemist Father and NZ born Journalist Mother. A stint at Auckland University (Economics), Caltex Oil as Management Cadet and then Auckland University of Technology (Commerce). Spent 15 years in New Zealand's largest wrist watch manufacturing business and distribution with offices and factory in New Zealand and with Chinese partners in Hong Kong. Joined start-up e-see.com (online brand asset management) as General Manager in 1999. Bought out major shareholder in 2002. Founded Logosauce.com (global community of logo designers) in 2006. Founded The League of Extraordinary Brands (not-for profit) in 2011. Now living and working in Devonport.
