I advise the Ministry of Youth Development on how to engage young people in government decision making. I have previoulsy worked as a consultant at UNESCO, and gained seven years experience working at the New Zealand National Commission for UNESCO. I have had a long involvement in the NGO sector. As one of the founding members of the United Nations Youth Association of New Zealand (now UN Youth New Zealand), and leading that organisation in its early years before and going on to be National President of the United Nations Association of New Zealand (UNANZ). I am a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts (RSA), and previously served on the Board of the RSA A+NZ, act as an Honorary Advisor to Kowiana, and are engaged in the Young Leaders Network of the Asia:NZ Foundation. Outside of work I am an amateur photographer, enjoy meals out with friends, good wine, and enjoy traveling to new places.
