Mauro Bonugli is a Vice President at General Atlantic (GA), a global private equity firm. He identifies and leads technology-driven growth and business improvement initiatives within the portfolio companies. Once an investment is closed, he is responsible for developing and overseeing the implementation of an IT strategy based on the overall value creation plan to accelerate and amplify the growth potential of all portfolio companies. Further, he serves as interim Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for a €350M+ European and Latin American e-commerce company. As a native of Brazil, Mauro has specific expertise working in Latin America where he has led multiple initiatives. Mauro has also spearheaded outsourcing initiatives in Brazil and Argentina for local and international companies.
