Alexander Poltorak is Chairman and CEO of General Patent Corporation (GPC), an intellectual property (IP) management firm focusing on IP strategy, patent licensing and enforcement—the oldest such company in the world. Alex Poltorak also serves as Managing Director of IP Holdings LLC, an IP-centric merchant banking boutique offering IP advisory services, patent valuation, patent brokerage and idea incubator. Dr. Poltorak is also an Adjunct Professor of Physics at The City College of New York and Research Fellow at the Institute for Ultrafast Spectroscopy and Lasers at CUNY. Alex Poltorak served as the CEO of Rapitech Systems, Inc., a NASDAQ-listed computer technology company, Assistant Professor of Physics at Touro College and Assistant Professor of Biomathematics at Cornell University Medical College. He served as an Adjunct Professor of Law at the Globe Institute for Technology. Alex Poltorak was awarded his doctorate degree in theoretical physics in Russia in 1980.
