My current goals are to work on interesting projects and expand what I am learning. I try to never take on a project that I know how to do and as a result, I have breadth of experience that are applicable in a variety of roles. I love tackling hard problems and working with open and thinking minds. I have experience managing distributed teams, facilitating workshops, architecting software systems, developing algorithms and statistical models, mocking up web pages, and writing lots more perl, php, C, and python than I ever want to think about. I've worked with web applications, embedded systems, bioinformatics, AI, and signal processing. I speak hindi fluently, portuguese conversationally, and can fake my way through spanish.
