I was born in Arezzo, I studied Modern Languages and Literature at the University of Florence and I took a Master’s degree in journalism and communication at LUISS University. For seven years I worked as a freelance journalist for the most important Italian newspapers and reviews: “La Repubblica”, “Il Mondo” (a national magazine specializing in economics), “Il Gazzettino” (the leading newspaper in Northeastern Italy), “Gr1” (the news bulletin of the Italian national broadcasting company) and others. In 2000 I became the first professional journalist working at the editorial office of Misna, an international online news agency providing daily news from and about Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, Asia and Oceania. In 2008 I became head of the communication office of a non-profit association, “Rondine Cittadella della Pace”. I was also the managing editor of Rondine's by-monthly magazine. Now I am back to my first love: free-lance journalism.
