Claire Brooks isa graduate of NYU's Gallatin School of Individualized Study where she crafted an interdisciplinary concentration titled “Film, Storytelling, and The Global Imagination." The focus of her academic work was Cinema Studies, Comparative Literature, Producing, Creative Writing. As a creative individual, with strong business sensibilities and an even stronger entrepreneurial streak, Claire has become an active young member of film and television industry. She has interned at HBO and Time Warner, and worked abroad at a London based film and theater production company. Both professionally and academically, Claire also finds herself interested in media consumption (film, television, print) on new and emerging platforms, and how this is rapidly transforming traditional media marketing and distribution practices, both domestically and internationally. Claire has produced two short films, Fortissimo and Michael, both which are being submitted to film festivals this year.
