At work: My professional journey started 20 years ago. Since then, I have worked at Fortune 500 companies across three diverse industries (steel, food & technology). I have founded 3 technology start-ups also across three different spaces (commodities exchange, online backup & linguistics). eCircle was acquired by Reliance, Opelin was acquired by Hewlett-Packard and we are currently building Whodini. eCircle helped bring commodities trading to India by executing the first online stainless steel auction. Opelin had over 5M users in 25 countries (supported in 22 languages). Whodini won the "Best Business Technology 2012" award by the Silicon Valley Business Journal. Along the way, I have coauthored 9 patents. I am a member of Sand Hill Angels and a charter member of TiE. At play: I have hiked the Grand Canyon rim to rim in summer, twice. Someday, I plan to write a historical novel on the Indigo Movement of 1858. Specialties: Starting up, business building and product management
