I'm a specialist in data, and I work hard to make sure that I have a solid understanding of advances in both architecture and technology that may have an impact on that space. My last startup, Latigent, created one of the first business intelligence applications to be Web-based, and we eventually sold it to Cisco (it is now Cisco Unified Intelligence Center). Currently, I'm deep in distributed architecture and big data, and how to combine the two to do some amazing things with predictive analytics. Applied Data Labs is my current startup where I'm implementing these ideas and taking a green field approach to reinventing analytics and business intelligence.
