Peter is the CEO and Founder of SpotSift, a location-based service that helps professionals connect at events using their mobile device. Prior to SpotSift Peter was at Simply Hired, a search engine for jobs. At Simply Hired, Peter played many roles including lead software engineer for the Ads system, lead engineer on social networking applications (MySpace & Facebook), and back-end content engineer. Peter's expertise is in web and mobile development. He's proficient using Spring, Cassandra, Objective-C, and iOS. In prior roles, he's used MySQL, PHP, and Perl. He has experience mining large data sets, enriching data, web crawling, and search. He's also developed an Ads system (CPC campaigns, auctions, campaign optimization, ads serving).
