Mickey Muldoon is the manager of external affairs at School of One, an innovative program delivering personalized mathematics instruction in New York City public middle schools. His writing on education reform has been featured on NBC News Online and the National Review Online, and on Flypaper, a leading education policy blog. Previously, he worked at the Thomas B. Fordham Institute in Washington, DC, where his duties included fund-raising, accounting, research, writing, event planning, executive assistance, and collecting Coke Rewards points. In 2008, he was a field organizer in Richland County, Ohio, for the Obama presidential campaign. Prior to that, he was an English teacher in northeastern Brazil. He is a graduate of Evanston Township High School and Harvard University, where he earned a BA in 2007. He lives with his wife and younger brother in Brooklyn.
