After cutting my teeth managing public relations for tech companies, I joined Sprouter to better utilize my passion for networking, community-building & Web 2.0 technologies. As Community Manager, I'm the voice of the Sprouter community of entrepreneurs. I often speak about Community Management, social media and entrepreneurship, and have led sessions at Podcamp Toronto, North by Northeast, Net Change Week, and more. I also comment frequently in the press about Community Management and social media for small business, and have appeared in the New York Times, AOL Small Business, Forbes, CNN, MSN News, and on CBC. I'm also a tech writer at BlogTO and a columnist at Women’s Post, and contribute to publications including Business Insider, TechVibes and VentureBeat.
