About me

I am currently a Research Fellow at the University of Padua, Italy, where I coordinate a multidisciplinary research group on the ethical, legal, and social implications of nanotechnologies and NBIC (nano-bio-info-cogno) convergence. I am an experienced trainer, with ten years as a lecturer for undergraduates, postgraduate students, and professionals in sociology; foresight; science, technology and society. I am skilled in running projects, groups and organizations, as I had the opportunity to engage extensively with the related administrative and organizational work both in academic and private, not-for-profit environments. I teamed up with other professionals in social research, training, finance, law and economics to offer companies and public administrations advice on strategic positioning, design and assessment of public policies, analysis of training needs and planning of in-company training, funding opportunities from public and private sources.
