Software (or for that matter hardware) should be based on common sense. "Don't make me think" (which requires a lot of thought when actually coming up with it). I put myself in the user's seat (if I actually have the knowledge about the users). Imagine software with seamless integration with everything around you (bad or good thing is debatable)
