I am the Co-Founder and CEO of Totem Blue, art + paperie,t - an online/offline commerce platform dedicated to supporting artists and art and culture in local economies. I am Emergency Medicine Physician working part-time while raising 4 lovely children. I am an entrepreneur at heart, a graduate of ACTiVATE sponsored by Path Forward Center for entrepreneurship, and a current Founder in the the DC Founder Institute Fall 2011. I am interested in technology-based startups, art collecting, the arts, interior design, fine wine, good food, positive psychology, reading books of all kinds, community building, philanthropy, volunteerism, promoting play and outdoor time in childhood, local and organic food movement, healthy aging, preventive medicine, and palliative care medicine.
