Involved in the marketing transitions from online grassroots via message boards and forums to the expansion to social media platform models such as Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, Facebook, and beyond; that have built up a viral reputation through the 8 years that they have been building their brands and influencing their fans and audience. I have involved myself in the position as avid music fan to apply how I would want obtain what new music is out there. I have had to know, understand, and do more research involving myself through music and the social media that has made itself available as a resource. I have followed the incredible surge of making music social to the fans, i.e. Spotify and the included social music listening apps, and involving the fan further to create listening stations or rooms. These platforms and apps have ignited further my motivation along with the combination of my specialization of the developing marketing culture especially in music.
